My homage to all the BBC dramas featuring elegant women who are always underestimated; Posh Ladies Night Out plays with duality—two different profiles rendered as mirror images, their stylized elegance and heightened color feel theatrical, as though we’re catching a moment staged for observation. Layers of papery impasto texture blur the boundary between portrait and pattern, suggesting personas assembled from memory, desire, and social archetype. The work reflects on how identity is often a constructed façade—distinct yet intertwined with the people, places, and narratives our minds create during an idle moment.
Printed at 2400 x 1200 dpi with archival 12-color pigment inks on acid and lignin-free mold-made copperplate paper, these prints offer exceptional longevity (200+ years) and tonal fidelity. Unlike dye-based prints, the pigment ink rests on the textured paper surface, producing a visual depth and tactile quality comparable to traditional etchings or lithographs.
Each limited edition print includes a certificate of authenticity printed on premium, watermarked paper with fluorescent security fibers.
